After immigrating from England in 2003 with my husband and young children, we chose to call Barrie, Ontario home for its incredible quality of life and easy access to the GTA. With skiing, lakes, beaches, and golf right at our doorstep, it quickly became the perfect place to raise a family — and it’s why I truly understand how important it is to find not just the right house, but the right neighbourhood, schools, and lifestyle.
I began my real estate career in 2010 as a full-time Broker, and together with my husband, we founded the Hocking Homes Team — a small, experienced group of talented Realtors who are passionate about helping people move confidently through every stage of life. Years later, I still get a genuine thrill from working with first-time buyers, educating them and guiding them through the entire process with clarity and care.
As my career has evolved, so has my focus. I’m also a Lifestyle 55+ Affiliate, which allows me to better serve mature clients who are downsizing to bungalows or condos. Helping them transition into the next chapter of their lives is incredibly rewarding, and I take great pride in understanding their unique needs and priorities.

Outside of real estate, I love spending time with family and friends over good food, nice wine, and cocktails. Now that we’re empty nesters, we’ve welcomed a very “special” addition to our family — Tinks, our young Mastiff mix who thrives on constant attention. In the winter, you’ll find me painting, decorating, and reorganizing our home, and once the warmer weather arrives, I’m happiest gardening, kayaking, golfing, and walking along the beach with Tinks by my side.
