Karin was born and raised in the small town of Wallaceburg, where strong community values and reliable neighbours shaped her view of home. To her, a home is more than a structure. After completing her undergraduate degree at the University of Guelph and earning her Bachelor of Education from Nipissing University, she moved to Simcoe County in 2002 to build her life here. She loves the balance this area offers — open land, agriculture, hiking and lakes alongside growing communities and easy access to the GTA.
Real estate was not a quick decision for Karin. In fact, she resisted it at first. She had seen experiences where people felt pressured, and that did not sit well with her. Karin has always been the honest friend who will point out both the strengths and the flaws in a home. After being asked one too many times why she did not have her license, she finally enrolled and became licensed in 2008, completing her studies while expecting her first child. That determination says a lot about how she approaches her work.
With a background in education, Karin naturally brings a teaching mindset to real estate. She believes clients deserve to understand what they are doing and why. She lays out the numbers clearly, explains the options, and allows people to make confident decisions without pressure. Her focus over the years has been residential, agricultural, and investment properties, working with first-time buyers, investors, downsizers, and rural property owners.
